There has been a flurry of activity this week in Kenyan chess. The 2016 Olympiad Qualification Event is due to be held at the KCB Club in Ruaraka, Nairobi.
The unfortunate thing here is that the former Chess Kenya Chairman Githinji Hinga has been on the offensive trying to stop the Qualification event from going ahead. This is because the Sports Tribunal has confirmed that Githinji Hinga should continue to be the Chairman together with his team until further notice. This has caused a lot of unnecessary drama in Kenyan chess which we do not need.
To capture this drama this is what I have!
