I am sure that many of you have heard about the horrible wrangles within the small and vibrant Kenyan chess community with two factions claiming to be in charge.
On one hand we have Githinji Hinga who is Chairman Chess Kenya and the on the other hand we have Benard Wanjala as Chairman of Interim Chess Kenya.
Two centres of power each with their own backers and this does not augur well for the ordinary Kenyan chess player.
