Nairobi Chess Academy & Club have announced details of the Nairobi Open Youth Chess Championship which takes place on 25th February 2017 at the Makini School, Nairobi.

The event will be run in different age categories and will see players use a 45 minute time control over 6 rounds.

FM Steve Ouma who is the organiser of the event says that he expects over 150 children form various schools in Nairobi and the environs.
