2017 KAM Pharmacy Rapid Chess Championship

Chess players are eagerly waiting for the 2nd edition of the KAM Pharmacy Rapid Chess Championship which takes place this weekend.

Over 27 prizes are on offer and which is expected to attract a huge crowd of chess enthusiasts.

The 5 round event with 25 minutes plus 10 seconds will see all players competing in one group rather than separate groups.

The Defending Champion Peter Gilruth is expected to play in a bid to retain the title.
