KCB Chess Club also in Cairo

2016 Kenya National League winners KCB Chess Club today morning left for Cairo to take part in the African Clubs Champions Cup which is taking place from 23rd July to 1st August 2017 in the bustling city of Cairo, Egypt.

The team members include CM Ben Magana, CM Wachira Wachania, Jackson Kamau, Joseph Methu and Isaac Babu as Team Manager.  FM Harold Wanyama is expected to join the team on Monday.

Equity Bank Chess Club are the other Kenyan team taking part in this prestigious event which has been organised by the Egyptian Chess Federation in conjunction with the African Chess Union and sponsored by Eastern Company SAE.
