Chess players in the region are eagerly awaiting the inaugural Uganda Open Chess Championship which runs from 9th to 12th November 2017 at the in Forest Cottages, Naguru Hills, Bukoto, Kamapla, Uganda.
The event has been proudly sponsored by Kasparov Chess Foundation Africa and boasts of a cash prize fund of UGX 5,500,000 (USD 1,500).
