    FM Nsubuga to visit Seychelles

FM Haruna Nsubuga a top player from Uganda is all set to visit Seychelles in an effort to promote the game of chess.  The visit will take place from 21st to 23rd February 2018.

It is interesting to see small federations like Seychelles Chess Federation making great strides to promoting chess within Africa.

Seychelles Chess Federation were in the news in October 2016 when they hosted former World Chess Champion GM Viswanathan Anand.  See story on GM Anand in Seychelles.

FM Haruna Hsubuga is well known in Kenya and a winner of several prestigious events.  These include the 2016 edition of both the Capablanca Cup and the Equity Bank Open.

We look forward to a photo report during this historic visit.
