GM Slim Bouaziz visit to Kenya

Tunisian GM Slim Bouaziz visited Nairobi recently to attend a FIDE meeting.  He took this opportunity to conduct a simultaneous against 42 players at the Makini School.

The simultaneous was held just after the Njaanuary Rapid Fire Chess Championship concluded.

The event which took place on 20th January 2019 saw him winning on 36 boards and drawing against 6 boards.

African Chess Confederation President Lewis Ncube also attended the event.

GM Slim Bouaziz v Anthony Kionga

GM Slim Bouaziz

GM Slim Bouaziz was born on 16th April 1950 in Tunis.  He became a GM in 1993 and has participate in 5 interzonal tournaments between 1967 to 1987.

He has also participated in the World Knock Out Championship held in Las Vegas in 1999 where he was eliminated in round one.
