Nairobi Chess Club suffers major set back

Nairobi Chess Club suffered a significant set back during the ongoing Kenya Premier Chess League.

They dropped vital points when they lost to Deadly Bishops and Nairobi Chess Academy last week.

Nairobi Chess Club defeated Prox Chess House 4-1 on Saturday morning before losing to Deadly Bishops in the afternoon.

Equity Chess Club also suffered a major set-back when they lost to Anchor Chess Club.

The venue of the matches was the historic City Hall along City Hall Way in downtown Nairobi.  The dates were 18th and 19th May 2019.

Standings

Nairobi Chess Club has now played ten matches out of 26 matches. They have unfortunately now lost two matches and drawn one leaving them in 9th position with 22 match points.

KCB Chess Club are in cruise control as they head the table with 39 match points. They remain unbeaten in their 13 matches.

Deadly Bishops are hot on their heels with 26 points out of 14 rounds.
