Waridi Chess Ventures Junior Open Chess Tournament 2019

The Waridi Chess Ventures Junior Open Chess Tournament 2019 took place last weekend at the YMCA Hostels, South C, Nairobi.

The event attracted 148 players from various schools and clubs within the region.

All Saints Cathedral, Riara Springs Primary School, Moi Educational Centre, Oshwal Academy Nairobi were some of the participating schools. Waridi Chess Ventures and Tritonite Stars were some of the other clubs taking part.

The top players receive trophies while all participants received certificates of participation. The format was six rounds played at a time controls of 30 minutes per player.
