Githinji Hinga wins 3rd edition BYOB
Githinji Hinga obliterated the field to win the 3rd edition of the BOYB Blitz Tournament held at The Galleria Mall on Friday, 19th July with a perfect score of 9/9. This outstanding performance saw him pocket KES 5,000 in cash.
In second place was James Panchol on 7.5/9 and won himself KES 3,000. Ben Nguku, on the other hand, garnered 7/9 points to complete the podium finish in 3rd place and pocket KES 1,500.
A total of 30 players took part and the first 15 participants to register and show up were treated to two drinks each, courtesy of Ben Nguku. NA Ronald Bolo was the Chief Arbiter and assisted by the FA Joy Wangari.
The 4th edition of the event will take place on 2nd August 2019.
