Akello Atwoli wins BYOB2
The Galleria Mall was a hub of activity last Friday when it hosted the 2nd edition of the Bring Your Own Board Night (BYOB).
The event held on 28th June 2019 saw a total of 40 players battling it out for top honours.
Akello Atwoli was in form with his swashbuckling style when he emerged winner with 8 points out of 9 rounds. He went home with a gift voucher of KES 5,000.
Chahindi Mbiu was in second place with 7.5 points. He took home a gift voucher for KES 2,500.
Ben Nguku was third with 6points, and he won a gift voucher of KES 1,500.
James Panchol was the winner of the 1st edition that took place on 14th June 2019.
The 3rd edition of this popular event will take place on 19th July 2019.
Galleria Shopping Mall
The mall sits on 12 acres in the plush Nairobi’s suburb of Karen. It is a vibrant modern shopping centre, dining and entertainment destination.
Some of the top shops include Carrefour, Bata, Text Book Centre, Woolworths, and Artcaffe, among others.
It has over 164,000 square feet on three floors. The mall opened in 2010.
