Nairobi Southlands Junior Open Chess Tournament
Nairobi Southlands Junior Open Chess Tournament saw just over two hundred forty-two players converge at Khalsa School, South C – Nairobi on, 5th October 2019.
The hotly contested event was run in the following categories. Under 8,10,12,14,16 & 18 both boys and girls. Also at stake, were three glittering school team trophies donated by Nairobi Sports House.
Twenty-four schools took part in the tournament. The top 3 in each category received awards.
Waridi Chess Ventures organised the tournament.
