‘Chess classes for children‘ is probably Kenya’s most searched for phrase on Google!
Most Kenyan public schools closed last week and are set to open in early January 2020. It means that children are going to be home for almost ten weeks!
Several parents have called me to ask if I know where their kids can learn to play chess. I have decided to put up an article to make it easier for parents to find all the information in one place.
Several clubs and individuals have taken the cue of this opportunity and organised chess classes for all levels. The various posters are below.
