East Africa Junior Chess Tournament
The East Africa Junior Chess Tournament 2023 was a resounding sucess with 217 participants from eight federations taking part. These included India, Malawi, Pakistan, Tanzania, Tajikistan, Uganda, the USA and host Kenya.
Both U8 & U10 sections were unrated. The U12, U14, U16 & U18 categories were combined. The U18 section had 150 players and it was FIDE rated,
Venue: Aga Khan Academy, Mombasa Kenya.
Classical: 90 Minutes, Rounds: 7.
Dates: 13th to 15th January 2023.
