The Intellect Academy Cup 2025 is a major international youth chess festival in  Novokuznetsk, Russia, from 12th to 18th February 2025, as part of the global Chess in Schools initiativeTeam Kenya took part and represented by five players and five accompanying officials:

Kenya finished the event with 57.5 points to end 19th out of 57 teams.
This is Kenya’s third chess campaign into Russia with the first two being when St Peters Juja School took part in the Belaya Ladya events in 2018 and 2019.
